The board have already accepted a bid from hull - £1.7 million.

Contract on the table will see austins wages quadruple.

Deal depends on whether Austin wants to move up to north.

Let's start a bidding war.

Start the bidding at £5m I say

I hear Reading have bid £1m upfront rising to £2m if they get promoted.

My mate lives near reading.

I'm fairly resigned to losing Charlie if not in Jan then certainly in the summer. More teams being interested isn't going to do any harm to his value, so more the merrier I say.

I managed 3 months and I have to agree.  On the plus side it does have the most magnificent collection of oddballs, tramps and general nutters roaming the streets than I have ever seen anywhere else.

I do miss the”chip spice” they used to serve at the takeaways.

Not a great move for Charlie, Hull aren’t exactly setting the Championship on fire and they’re not a club known for nurturing talent.  It would be very easy to move there and get lost in the stiffs.  On the plus side the strikers they do have on their books aren’t exactly great to say the least but in Charlie’s position better to sit tight for the right club rather than jump ship to a side on the decline.
