With all the Wilson-bashing at the minute, why not show yourself to be his apprentice by picking your team for the cup upset at Crawley, on the telly on Friday...

Smith

Caddis
LJF
Cuthbert
Rose

Prutton
Douglas
Timlin
JPM
Ritchie

Austin

Pack the midfield, use Cuthbert in the centre - get a draw and take them back to the CG at least.

Isn't Douglas ruled out after last nights hamstring injury?

Going to Crawley and playing for a draw.  No

Sadly, I would probably take that at the minute.

Smith

Cuthbert (Amankwaah if fit)
LJF
Morisson
Rose

JPM/Caddis
Prutton
Douglas/Timlin if JD is out.
Ritchie

Austin
Dossevi

Don't like Cuthbert at right back but who else is there if Amankwaah is out? Thomspon isn't ready yet.

Probably because he's been shit this season. Apparently he's been carrying an ankle injury for a while, but was playing anyway, until his performances warranted a rest.

Not what the O/S has been saying for 3 weeks. He's been injured and returned to training late last week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sheehan and Caddis brought in to play infront of Rose and Cuthbert to try to offer more protection. So:

Smith

Cuthbert
LJF
Morisson
Rose

Caddis
Prutton
Timlin
Ferry
Sheehan

Austin

Subs: Dossevi, JPM

I would like to see Sheehan left back and Rose left wing.

Sheehan is better at defending and Rose is better at attacking.

Is Pericard still injured?

I get the feeling that Pericard is a gonner. Thought the interview with Wilson after the Brentford game was interesting as I thought that he showed a bit of anger at the fact that Pericard had to be taken off with an injury. Had the feeling from the tone of phrase that Wilson was a bit annoyed with him and felt a little let down by him....I could be puttin g 2 and 2 together and getting 64 though.

Given how fucking useless we are at defending, I was wondering whether we might be better off playing with a sweeper - Prutton or maybe Cuthbert behind Morrison / JFL

Can you imagine Prutton as a sweeper! He'll be off within 20 seconds.

Be a total waste of his undoubted talents.
