However much they'd say otherwise, a televised cup game is always going to be a slight distraction to the players.
Tonight isn't an obvious season changer, partly because of Fridays game. It's an important 3 points to pick up though.

Both games are important: Cup game win = Money from a potentially good third round draw; a win tonight = 3 valuable points.
Both are competitive games and should be treated with equal importance, they are to me!

Cant see it. We might flirt with the Play offs for a while, but I think we will fall short. And thats assuming Austin isnt sold in january. Nothing looks like changing in terms of stopping the goals at the back. We are fighting an uphill battle every game. |
