I'm surprised we haven't arranged a friendly reserve match if he's being watched by a few other clubs. Hype? Or are we being a bit slow as usual?

Can't help but think that this lad is being pushed very aggressively by his agent/manager/whatever on forums and people seem to be taking at face value the agent/manager/whatever's assertions that he's absolutely shit hot. Which strikes me as little better than "Looks great on YouTube". If he's that good, surely it will be apparent to our management/coaching staff, why the need to try and create groundswell among fans? More than a whiff of astroturfing, methinks

PS Hope I'm wrong and he's genuinely the dog's whatnots, signs for us and becomes the new Charlie Austin

I know it was only the stiffs but a hat-trick is a hat-trick and he seems to have taken the step up in his stride, at least to reserves level. I look forward to eating my words on his debut Smiley

He's got to be worth a punt. Its a fairly big step up for him, even playing for the reserves.

Surely hei s worth that risk give him until the end of the season with a guarntee of a new dela if he plays x 1st team games and see how he develops, a hat trick in 36 mins says he has something about him and knows where the net is.

We also haven't had a pacey striker for a while and he's (in his own words) as quick as O'Brien over 40 yards.

As long as his hamstrings aren't as fucking quick to go as AOB then it will be a good asset

Always a risk with very pacey players unfortunately.

If, like Alan O'Brien, your hamstrings are made of cheese.

Surely as foods go, cheese is quite resilient?

Not if it's got super hot and melted due to lots of sprinting.
