And the local BNP spokeschav at the time was sent down for firebombing the Broad St mosque a few years back. But I suspect those weren't the kind of incidents Gazza had in mind - terrorism only happens one way these days, apparently

Have to say my first thought why Manchester Road was closed was that the prossies were all fully engaged, presumably after Rooney "got lost" on his way from the station to sign on loan for us.

It wasn't funny then either.

Quite a lot of Manny Road, and the side streets are still shut off now. The cops have not let hardly anyone in or out of the exclusion zone. I've been lucky, the exclusion zone starts about 20 metres from my front door.

Is it normal for a stabbing crime scene investigation to last this long?

Manny Road now open.

Part of Rosebery Street plus the backs are sectioned off, guarded by plastic policemen.

Currently sectioned off again.

An incident happened on one of the pelican crossings as there were ambulances by ther. Whether it's anymore serious than a traffic incident I do not know.
