Won't be wanting Campbell if he tires and doesn't track back then.

I've heard Dario Gradi is willing to offer 100k for his services.

If so it will be a Crewe Ton.

5 league goals and counting...

Shocking that a 5 goal lead was let slip in this game. Who's going to worry about their place in the back line now?

Reserve games are about individual performances and scorelines. Competition for first team places are not always why these games take place. We replaced Sheehan, Caddis and JC with Abdul Said, Seb Broomfield and Josh Parsons.

OFF:
2 x defenders with international experience!
1 x trial striker whos netted a hat trick in 1/2 a game!

ON:
1 x youth defender
2 x youth strikers

These subs were made to weaken our team purposefully, and give the youngsters a shot at some more game experience, that is all.

Subs are irrelevent in this and the match report suggests if it were not for Scott it could of been a few conceded in the first half anyway.

I won't read too much into but these players really should not be throwing awqay 5 goal leads no matter what age they are. Imo it just shows that we need to seriously work defensivly at all levels, look we were all quick to praise shirtliffe last year and rightly so when the defence were performing very well it's only right we question what's happening this term.

As for Campbell i have heard great things about this lad and think we have offered a contract already so fingers crossed.

Sign this lad up now. I still have painful memories of King not signing Freddy Eastwood after a reserve hat-trick.

No pressure lad, but if you could be as good as Austin it'd be much appreciated. Cheers!

I remember that well but a little different with Eastwood, we couldnt afford is wages, he was holding out for a much better deal than we could afford and also a club closer to his caravan in Essex!

Couldn't he have moved his caravan closer to us?
