Im booking bus and train tickets for Friday coming from Heathrow T1 to Swindon. I take the bus from Heathrow T1 to Reading, where i take the train to Swindon. I am filling out the form and have completed it to the point of "where would you like to collect your tickets" The list of collection points that they give does not include Heathrow T1 or any Heathrow choices at all. When i select a different station (reading) it tells me "this is not the start of your journey"

I fucking know that you cunt!!!!

Am i going to get shafted at The Bus station at Heathrow by some jobsworth saying " oooh, if you aint got a ticket guv, you aint getting on" Even if i have a email comfirmation print out?

Can someone point me to the obvious answer please?

Did that at 35p per min to find out that you cant pre book the bus by internet as they have no ticket collection machines.

Why give me the option then, fucking goat blowers  Bad Mood

Well I just been on national express and it gives me the option. Can't you get an e-ticket for the coach and collect the train ticket at reading?

I can take national express to Swindon but it means hanging around at Heathrow for longer. I can buy my bus ticket on arrival and pre book my train to swindon.

I just hope the bus isnt full when i get there.

Thanks for looking.

National express to reading was what I looked at. Dunno if that makes a difference.

I've not booked before and never had any problems with buses being too full. I think a lot of people just use the line into Paddington and double back on themselves. Best of luck.

Yep, or a slightly cheaper way if you've got time is to take the tube to Paddington and get the train from there
