Not overly optimistic about this. Think I might listen instead of watching.

Even for town fans, this is a miserable bloody thread. 2-1 to us, missed pens, sendings off, streakers (females....), and a long range injury time belter into the top corner to help us to 3 points. If you can't get up for games like this, whats the point?

Quite a big game in terms of fan morale this one. Obviously a loss won't ruin our season and a win won't make it. But it would give everyone a massive lift to move 2 points outside the playoff places.

1-1 then.

Yep. Surprise return by Charlie as it turns out Wilson's "definitely not"s and "you're having a laugh"s were all subtle mind games inspires team and fans to an unprecedented frenzy of unity and desire, resulting in a 6-1 (have to allow for the token defensive fuck-up) romp and the entire away section in tears. Actual tears. I will settle for nothing less

My first prediction on a match day thread (and first evening game) since Leeds at home last season. So, in the true tradition of superstitious fans, I'll go for the same score, a tight 7-3 victory

I havent seen a draw for over 20 games stretching back to February, i can see that ending tonight. 1-1

Attendance will be shit for a Gas game, 8000.  Not many fuckers will pay on the day when they can watch on the box in the warm.

Wow, what a depressing read this has been.

Why?

The point of a prediction is to guess what you think the score will be, not what you want it to be.  I’d love to put down a 4-0/5-0 prediction but that is highly unlikely at the moment.

It's a depressing reality. Is what I mean.

What makes me laugh is how they refer to us as the Swine - very original indeed. But then again when most their supporters come from the uneducated side of Bristol and live in slums what can you expect.

As name calling goes, I think that's pretty tame to be honest.  Right up there with 'You brute!' on the Richter Scale of popular insults.
