For all you Cider drinkers I would highly recommend taking a trip to Dick Willows Farm & Cider shop which is located on the A4 between Box and Bath.
I went there a couple of weeks ago to purchase some 'dirty' Cider and not only do they sell some cracking Ciders (Red Slug is certainly a recommended selection) with great advice from the shopkeeper who allows you to taste before you buy but they also sell all the usual cheese, chutneys, jams, sausages etc.
Get on that Red Slug.

Carling or Fosters. I'm a man of simple(cheap) tastes
When talking about beer, I think this thread was intended to be about the kind that has alcohol in it.

Chang is there more for it's percentage. I'd also add Cypriot Keo to the list.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but All Bar One are selling Rothaus soon. Unfortunately only their wheat beer and not their Tannenzäpfle lager (my favourite drink in the world), but it will be definitely worth trying if you ever find yourself in an All Bar One establishment in the near future.

That stuff's quite nice. Was only 85p a pint the last time I was there. My usual tipple is Strongbow, but if I'm feeling a little different then I do like a pint of Doombar, IPA or Guinness.

Can't believe Butcomebe hasn't had a mention, especially with the number of people bigging up 6X. Butcombe is bar far superior. Also partial to a DoomBar as a few others have mentioned and when down in Dorset a good pint of Piddle slips down nicely.

Butcombe is ok, if its kept well its a fantastic pint, but, its all we seem to get round here and a bad pint is worse than a bad pint of Arkells.
Too easy to get a really shit pint rather than a good one.

Where are you JJ? Can only get it in a couple of pubs around Bath. Thankfully it's the only guest beer where I live and they keep it well.

Enjoying Harveys Sussex Best lately although don't think you can get it in Swindon also 6X from the Calley at Hodson long standing favourite.
Could have a few other suggestions after the up and coming Swindon Beerex.
