How about a duel between you and me Ben? One of the favourites to fall early, or should we avoid eachother untill the later rounds?
Either way, I doubt I'll be able to enter a contender until the weekend. haha, that could be interesting. I'm going to be busy till the weekend, Might take some paper and a pen on the train with me and start planning the most amazing creation ever. I'm thinking more of a piece of art than a sandwich.

Remember you have to be able to eat it Ben, also it has to look mouth-watering.
I'm going to be thinking about what I'm going to need for the rest of the week now.

A heart attack. Dan, the clue is in the brackets. Has irony not reached Oxford yet?

Okey-dokey, my entry is as follows: Strips of pork cooked in paprika and bbq seasoning, with fried red pepper and sundried tomatoes and a little cheese, all niceky encased by some lovely sundried tomato ciabatta bread. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/1kinkytom/Lunch.jpg[/url] Was delicious I might add.

I vote for kinkey. Mainly because I didn't enter though. After my todays curry disaster I was going to attempt some sort of experimental greek blt, so basically feta cheese, letuice, tomato, few olives and a bit of bacon, but just didn't have the ingredients. did have a nice bit of ciabatta as well. Oh well.

kinkys looks mouldy to me! Eh? Where? Perhaps it is because it is a particularly lovely piece of ciabatta with sun dried tomatoes running through it. It wasn't mouldy at all - it was mouthwateringly delicious.

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/trebblej82/Photo0213.jpgThis little beauty was for day one of the Ashes, for scale that's a kettle in the background. £5.50's worth of prime rump steak, medium rare. lettuce, cucumber, tomato & gherkin. Mustard mayonnaise. All served in a freshly baked white bloomer (the co-op didn't have the ciabatta I was after) And it was lovely.

So it's between Whits and Brighton then. Whits does look very tasty, and BR's also looks lovely.
I'm going to judge this on which I'd choose from a menu, and on that basis Brighton has just edged it.
Sorry Whits, however if you made me that I'd certainly enjoy it very much.
