My garden is a like the web planet at the moment.

They are all quite cool. I've been trying to take pictures of them, which is tricky and not made any easier by my lack of photography skills, and the bastards keep moving. Still fun though.

We have about five of those in the garden at the moment.I'm not usually bothered by spiders but i do dislike having to walk through the webs.Put me off picking the tomatoes so some have gone over  Sad

For someone with self confessed limited photography skills, they're pretty bloody good pictures.

For those of you who don't like spiders, put conkers on your window sills. Apparently keeps spiders away. No scientific proof that it works (i.e. its an old wives tale), but I'm just about to deploy the conker fleet to protect a damsel in distress......

and the bastards keep moving

Try spreading a thin layer of super glue on their webs. That should do the trick.

I looked into this as had a girlfriend who was terrified of spiders...  no truth whatsoever sadly...  A nice idea though.

Just tell her they mean her no harm and are only in the house to sleep in her ear or nose while she sleeps. Hope that helps.
