They were ordered to hand them over by a court order, which every ISP in the country would have complied with.

Not sure there is really anything to worry about even if you do. These cases very seldom make it to court in the UK, in general the music industry here are against court action. Given what has happened with ACS I doubt there will be much interest from anyone in going to court now, I can't see any solicitors or record label wanting to put themselves in the firing line for the same treatment.
