Ive got one as well Sad i put posion down but they arent taking it,though next doors cat and my dog have chased it so maybe theyve killed it.

My parents had a rat problem earlier this year, eventually managed to poison it only for the little bastard to crawl up inside the wall to die. You can still smell it sometimes.

Nice - tis an increasing problem  I know a few of the gamekeepers but don't really have the time to commit to vermin control on a regular basis so tend to stick to helping the neighbours out (we all back onto farmland and have large gardens so rats are a regular feature!!

General rule of thumb is that for every 1 you see there are 5 nearby that you don't...
