 The ones that don't wash are Crusties.....you seem to have a fascination with Avebury, Marie.

i just seem to always be going through there and always noticing things. So the clean ones are druids but the dirty ones are crusties? or are they all druids but the dirty ones are a subculture?  :?

Traditionally the "proper'" druids used to go to Stonehenge.....they were a weird lot, (been a few times myself)....at Avebury you get more of your pagans....those that believe in Earth forces......

and they are the ones that dont wash? i wanted to go and have a look but cant park and there was no way i was going to walk from calne!!

If you take the pagan Earth force view of things, the whole of the Avebury landscape, was set up because its a special place.......representing the fecundity of Mother Earth.
