a post referring to Newquay means I have to mention the time we went down to Newquay years ago in a super old Toyota and Lash_sumthin fell asleep in one of the clubs.

Just came back from Newquay(ish) last week. St Ives is better but mental busy, although there was a seal in St Ives harbour.

Erm, yeah, Arcade Fire, not that fussed myself but my music tastes stopped evolving about 1992.

Yes I got the sounds like "Swindon surface" (I assume). You'll have to explain why you called the thread Newquay anyone? as I'm a bit fick.

Errmmm... I met my wife in Newquay... in the Central Inn to be precise, so I always have a fondness for the place.

Not sure what this has to do with surfing though.

The Headland Hotel is a bit of ok, enjoyed my stay there, they used to have a snooker room in the basement and you could lock the door Wink . It was featured in a kids film with Anjelica Huston, the name escapes me, but it had something to do with witches
Fantastic views too of Fistral Beach

I nearly died on my first surfing trip to Newquay when I was 19. True story.

Shut the fuck up if the thought "shame you didn't" just flashed through your mind.
