Thomas Dossevi will be available for selection when Town travel to face Carlisle United this coming Saturday, despite having been called up for his native Togo's clash with Botswana.
The 31-year-old has opted to stay and travel to Cumbria with his new teammates, in a move which has delighted Town boss Danny Wilson.
He said: "It's great news that Thomas wants to stay with us.
"He had the option to go with them but it's looking like he'll be available for us which is great, and testament to his attitude because there's no guarantee he will start."
Town will still be without Paul Caddis and Billy Bodin, who are with Scotland and Wales Under 21s respectively.

Brilliant attitude this one. I was watching him after he got subbed against Brighton. You can tell he really cares about the team by the way he jumps around on the touchline.

I think we havnt found the best way to play Dossevi yet.
I wonder what he'd be like behind the front 2?

Or perhaps out wide. I think he is a good player for us to have because he can play in a number of different positions.

FM knows more about football than football knows about itself. Thus it is correct!

No seriously I think he'll be decent on the wing, in the Danny Ward mould- hard working, good touch, good at dribbling and strong

Yeh true im liking the system that we played last night though but yeh Dossevi on the wing gives us another option.
