we can call him Archibald if you like

You can't - cos Arch isnt short for Archibald, I'm actually named after an architectural feature.

To be part of the 'clique' do I need to say c**t a lot? I fear my irrational dislike of the word will forever see me on the outside looking in

You've got me.

Truth is, I sold my "magical internet powers" in 2004 to a big guy who later became famous for miming Europop on his webcam and uploading it on YouTube.

Go figure.

Well I'm wondering weather gerald can spell well enough to criticise anyone on a public forum..

Whether.  Or a poor attempt at irony.

yep, my parents were hippies and Architectural students.... quite big fans of the Norman Arch - oft found in Churches.

Seriously though, I now wish my real name was indeed Arch, cos this is a good, wacky, yet strangely plausible story.... Perhaps my next child will be subjected to the name, even if its a girl.
