Those are pretty amazing pictures to be fair. The quality is incredible. Russia and the surrounding Republics is an amazing place with an amazing history (which I don't know much about if I'm honest) I need to do something about that.

Good photo's. Others for consideration for those who like old photos, are Burton Holmes  http://www.burtonholmes.org/   and Albert Khan  http://www.albertkahn.co.uk/  both travelled exstensively in the late 1800's and early 20th century, well worth picking up the books, and also the DVD for Albert Khan.
