Twenty-two year old Paul Caddis has been called up to the Scotland Under 21's squad for matches against Austria and Belarus on the 3rd and 7th of September.

With us playing Carlisle away on the 4th of September, I suppose Kevin Amankwaah has a golden chance to win his place back.

Caddis was always going to be called up, but as first choice right back will probably go back into the team when he gets back. Shame really as Big Kev is a good player.

The joys of strength in depth.

I'd rather we were playing Amankwaah than Caddis anyway.

Is this his first call up ?

How can it be the U-21's when the article says he is 22 ?

He is a regular for them he can play until the end of the qualifying/tournament.

I think he is the captain.

To qualify for U-21 they have to be under the age of 21 at the start of the tournament. So at the last U-21 world cup, most of the players were 22/23 because they started qualifying two years earlier.

I see that Dossevi has also got a call up to Togo and Bodin called up to the Welsh U21's - when was the last time we had 1 player let alone 3 players called up to international's, other than Young Billy Bodin last season ?

Fallon - New Zealand ?

Three call-ups means you can postpone a fixture right? I know doing it with Billy Bodin on such a list would be cheeky but could this happen? Although, I doubt Danny Wilson will want to go up to Cumbria on a Tuesday night!

I would see how we do the next game or two.If we are like we are now and just not clicking yet i think it would be wise to try and get this postponed.
