4-2 to us. Rose free kick, Austin x 2, Pericard (I hope!)

I'm really not too sure about this, but that's just new season nerves. They think they have an amazing team, which I fail to see, but we never saw them at their best last season, so could be good? The fact they've been amusingly awful in pre-season means I expect them to be quite poor - as usual.

5-0 town. Cheesy

Happy new season everyone. COYR - 3 2.

Move on Dave! Greer's history, a minor footnote in the history of STFC.

No no, he' a Swindon reject now. Shame he's not playing so that we can remind him Smiley

First game of the season is always a tough call to predict.  Nobody saw a 5 0 defeat comeing last term.  Anything more than a defeat is welcome and the league isn't won in August.
Having said all that, 2 1 to Town No clean sheets this season.

Football is back!!!

I'm saying 2-1 to the town. Austin & Ball to score a goal in each half.

Part of me wants Brighton to score first so they feel doubly sick at losing.

Come on you reds!!!

Austin with an early goal and then we'll turn it on.

Swindon 3-0 Brighton

An easy home win against a no-mark team who's fans seem to think they are Manchester United for some reason. Look forward to re-visiting their forum at the end of the season where no doubt Brighton will finish in mid table nothingness!

A good tough fixture to get us going. It's not a catastrophe if we lose but with the extra people we can expect to be attendance a good performance would be ideal.

Come on you Reds!

A tight, close game. But I think we'll just edge it.
