One of our problems is that we aren't dirty enough and don't commit enough fouls. On the second goal, Rose could have taken Sparrow out as he ran on to the one-two - that far out it would have been a yellow and a free kick in no mans land.
Whilst it's not the style of play I'd like to see, other teams play that way against us and get an advantage as a result.

Well, theres a surprise Smith getting the blame for the goal, it was a bloody good strike and Lucas wouldnt have got it I dont think.
Blimey I hadn't even realised that was suspect but thats a very fair shout! Here's a screen grab. It's very close but looks just about onside. |

I'm not going to bash Smith i don't think he was at fault for the first but i think i may be the only one who doesn't understand why on the 2nd goal he rushes out and just stopped. Don't get me wrong it was a shit goal all round but don't know why he did that tbh.
I agree. If he just stands at his near post narrowing the angle he doesnt get beat as easily, one of the CBs (LJF?) was almost back |

I am sat in the bar in San Stefanos in Corfu at Man City v Spurs half time.
