Should bring back the Brylcreem and waxed moustaches eh Reg ?
I used to watch John Milkins at Pompey in the early 70's, who wore so much Brylcreem, the floodlights used to reflect off his head. There was a ref in the WC with a similar look...might have been a Mexican.

Don't get ahead of yourself...there's a lot of difference between being merely annoying and fully fledged mongdom.

Really.... I do worry about the amount of potential headbands in our side...Smeeton's rule is that more than one is suggestive of trouble within the squad...you could see it in the WC in Argentina's capitulation to the Hun.... Aha. But Dossevi wears no ordinary headband. It is largely constructed of Flanatex, a recently developed rubberised compound, designed to add extra power to the ball.

Pleased that he has signed. I haven't seen him play but from what I have heard he seems to have something about him. What also fills me with confidence is that Wilson doesn't normally rush signing trialists. He likes to assess them properly but clearly he'd seen enough of this guy last week to warrant offering him a deal. Sounds promising.

This is factually incorrect - it's actually made from flubber, a unique compound that returns a greater force than that applied to it - this can be the only explanation for the speed that was generated by that header - apparently DW had tried it on Pericards boots but he was never anywhere near the ball for it to be tested!

Roll on Saturday, I'm almost fouling myself with anticipation now.
Didnt see the Forest game so can't comment on the guy myself, but he looks an exciting acquisiton. As Barry mentions earlier - when you watching his youtube vid it does look like he's utilised a lot as a roaming AMRLC, so if he does start or come on as a sub on Saturday I'm not expecting him necessarily to go straight up top.
The competition for places is gonna be hot this year....

Reg remember John Milkins not the best looking guy but effective for pompey. My favourite keeper was Charlie Wright at Charlton always talking and joking with the fans in the town end and could always make a poor game enjoyable.
