- a carling extra cold pint glass. found on the traffic lights outside the front door.
- half a bar of swedish chocolate. at the back of the cupboard.
- a pound coin. on the bathroom floor.

not even lunchtime yet, i'm hoping to find something highly valuable by teatime

You could spend the afternoon looking for skips....always a good source of freebies, even if it's just firewood.

good idea. i saw a perfectly fine bike in a skip outside my girlfriend's halls of residence at uni. i regret not taking it.

I "found" the Eels "Beautiful Freak" and Soul Asylum's "Grave Dancers Union" in a charity shop today at a pound a piece.

Everyones finding stuff in charity shops today!
I must admit I only ever go in them to give donations
If you buy something in a charity shop can you say it's "vintage?"

Always take your suit into a charity shop...they will wash and press it and you can buy it back at half the price a dry cleaners will do it for you.
