Not everyones cup of tea obviously and judging by alot of music that gets posted here i doubt many on here like his stuff .
Anyway i got his new album last week and must admit it's probably some of his best work he has done.
Any other Eminem fans?

Not a huge fan, but I can tell he's quite good at something I don't particularly enjoy.
Like Tiger Woods or something.

I think I've listened to him, but only one track, Mocking Bird, might be totally wrong about that because I'm an old git.
After that track didn't really want to hear any more.

Not a fan but I think he is one of the most important artists of the last 20 - 30 years.

arriba - give me some names of others you feel have changed the face of music in the last 20-30 years. This guy took "black musc" and gave it to us honkeys - not forgetting some pretty controversial lyrics.

Brilliant album, particularly his collaberations with female artists for some of the songs. Back to his best after the disappointing Relapse album.

absolutely true, eminem often mentions the beastie boys as his most important influence because they showed that white hip hop could sell. both are great though. i like eminem's demo album, infinite, sounds very different to his other stuff. new stuff is a bit self indulgent and cheesy, but still good.
