Thanks Mate. Had another 3 the same evening but this was the biggest and the last.

Would you believe had 8 Chub as well with one going 6Lb 7oz.

Blanked on the first day but that's fishing.

Totally agree Summer Evening fishing is the best as is early Morning.

That one was actually caught around 9.30pm last Thursday and went back to the Thames alive and well. Made it special caught on my own made bait. The 7th so far this season.

Another 11lb 6oz one caught a few seasons back in the afternoon looking younger and a less tired Duke............

Hate Otters, Mink, Crayfish and Cormorants.

why hate otters? i think it's great that they are thriving again in british rivers.
cormorants and the yank crayfish i can understand.
