Let's hope we don't repeat last season's opening game performance... although, if we end up making the play-offs again, I won't be complaining.

Yes, but we need to go one step further this time and win them.  Not sure if I could go through the strain again though, automatic promotion this time round?!

See this annoys me.Lescinel was a bit un reliable at left back but was more than good enough enough at centre back. Some of our best defensive performances came with him at the back.

He had a horrible year of the pitch in his first full season in England last season and did more than a good enough job. As a centre back he is still young and is only going to improve.

The common factor with all the best performances of our young centre halfs was they all excelled with an experienced head next to them, when 2 young ones played together we looked very defensively naieve (sp) just look how bad we were at Franchise last season with Morrison and Cuthbert we were all over the shop, at times at Wembley with Lescinel and Cuthbert we looked lost at the back.  I genuinely struggle to think of any succesful team that has ever had 2 young centre halfs permanently in there line up.  Think we definitely need an experienced replacement who can organise and lead the young defenders we have back there.

I don't mind him going as long as they reinvest some of this money they keep taking for players, at the moment have swindon town actually brought a player since the new take over? im not complaining what they have done since the takeover i would like to see some money spent on proven experienced players!

Let's be honest, this looks like a step back and flies in the face of building on a strong side to challenge again

Maybe we should wait and see what we do in the transfer market before we all start saying what the board are doing wrong etc.

If you've really been paying that little attention, I'd suggest you're not well-informed enough to be calling Fitton et al into question

Transfer fee's are few and far between at our level anyways. The board have shown they can shell out on wages and signing on fees for good players. How cheap do you think Douglas and Lucas came?
