I rate greer very highly but am also realistic that if a big offer, as previously muted, came in we'd have to consider selling.

not many greer's out there? This is the best market for players in years, and I'd back Wilson to spot a player over Poyet every day of the week.

I'm agreed I'd be happy for Greer to stay. He was awesome last season.

All I'm saying is 450k would give us a three players compared to one.

500k profit in a year for a 29 year old wouldn't be bad going.

Still wouldn't sell our captain though, unless we have someone better lined up.

I'd also expect a fair chunk of the cash to become available to Wilson if he wanted it.

we should be making the squad stronger than last year, not making it weaker and having to re-build it.
we were bloody close to being good enough to go up.it doesn't need alot to get us there.
flogging greer would be a big mistake.

I was just having a go on FIFA, as I was tinkering with my starting line the Mrs. was watching over my shoulder and asked me why I was fielding Germain Greer  Suicide

It would be sad to lose a player of such character.

One thing Wilson and Fitton did last year was bring in players who ordinary people really look up to. Greer, Douglas and Lukas all fall into that category. It just brings all the pride back into the terraces.

I think we might find another defender as good as Gordon Greer. But we wont find one with a better attitude.

Speaking of attitude leeds fans seem to think Prutton had a hugely positive affect on their dressing room, so all good there.

Yeah, his attitude was outstanding away at Charlton in the Play Offs, and walking off the pitch at half time seemingly bickering with other players is also a winner.

Greer getting sent off and forcing Wilsons hand was probably the best thing that could have happened to us that night.

I wouldnt say a bad, rash mistake of a tackle means you have a bad attitude.

I think the challenge was born from frustration at the time tbh. Nothing to do with attitude.

Without doubt, we were dead and buried until Greer did "his bit".

Either way, he's got to stay at Swindon and I'm glad he will be.

Surely if he had as good an attitude as was said, then he wouldnt of got overly frustrated. I agree though, it was a challenge more born out of frustration than malicious or cunty in any sort of way.
