Greer will be suspended either way won't he.
What with Brightons home following being 20,000* I expect they should bring at least 8,000 down here.

Couldnt have hoped for a bigger game on the 1st day of the season, playing the Manchester United of the South coast.
Tickets will be hard to come by what with all the plastics that will turn up just to watch Brighton.

It's always so intimitdating, the way they come and pack out the away end. They put the rest of this division to shame. If only there were more clubs like them.

Never heard if it was a 1 or 3 match ban

Violent conduct is normally a 3 month ban.

Blimey, that is a bit harsh for a kick in the chops! You would get less for ABH!

I think Brighton fans are probably immune to that now.

They bring around 1000 even if they're in poor form, so with it being the first game plus they're all walking around with a chubby in their trousers thinking they're going to be in the Champions League in 3 years, I think you can safely double that.
I don't like their fans generally but I respect their away following.

I think away followings throughout the football League started really slipping from about 2004. And Brighton are a perfect example, that season Brighton brought about 2000 for a game at Christmas which was a great effort. Since theyve been back in the 3rd tier theyve never been on the bank.
