We know all about the criticism of the Wembley pitch, and it's the same for both sides - but is there any way we can prepare for it in advance? I just feel it's one of the things we can think about rather than regretting afterwards.

Studds or Blades? Good point - I'm always amazed at how often players slip on the pitch at the County Ground.

You're going on the pitch? I would wear crampons myself.

Poor old Alan O'Brien will pull a hamstring just looking at that sad excuse of a football pitch!
We should get a rough idea of how it will play on Monday during the England game!

Send a bunch of school kids out to the training ground with pitch forks to rough up the pitch perhaps

But once it has been played on Sat and then again on Mon it will be in a bad state for next Sat anyway the way it is.

They're professional football players and should adapt to what they're playing on! Look at the pitches in 70's etc. Fooking awful!
