I'll be honest, I was watching that game, and I didn't really care about the result. Suddenly, my ears perked up, and I heard the song "Shit Crystal Palace, you're just a shit Crystal Palace". Now, I cared. Swindon were going to beat Charlton, and were going to send them back home crying.

Some of you may know, in 2005, Charlton sealed our relegation. They proceeded to conga in the stands, and mock us. Last year, we had most of our reward. This year?   Icing on the cake.

Thank you Swindon Town, a true football club, and I wish you the greatest of success.  Clap Clap Clap

Phil Parkinson went on and on about an 'intimidating atmosphere', which amounted to booing our players in possesion. Lack of class there in my opinion.

The atmosphere at the CG was non stop positive Swindon support.

I don't know what it was like at the ground, but 80% of the chants I heard on the tv were Swindon. Considering it was suposed to be a 'bear pit', they only really made any noise when they were 2-0 up.

Agree with Spencer_White.
That booing of our players in possession came across quite a lot on TV.. you don't see that in this country very often. Lack of class indeed.

Except for us chanting "you're just a shit crystal palace" and "your support is fucking shit" and singing loads of anti-oxford songs.

So they booed some of our players. It's not a big deal is it?

All I can say is how proud I am of all the Town fans last night....

The atmosphere from start to finish in the away end was bloody brilliant - even at 2-0 down we were singing our hearts out !

Makes me proud and chuffed to be a Swindon fan this morning - albeit a tired one after missing the last train !!!

Just all that non stop booing when weve got the ball. They did tire of it.

Its something you get in southern European countries and I dont really get it.

Thank you STFC for giving me one incredible night.

And hopefully will be playing Crystal Palace next year, and you can thank us properly by giving us 3 points.  Wink

I'd like to thank the players for taking us to Wembley;

Danny Wilson from turning a team of relegation no-hopers into Championship hopefuls;

The coach driver for the tour of London (got some nice pics of Big Ben);

And my follow supporters for making it a cracking atmosphere at the Valley.

Looks like we've made some new friends. Another common ground between us and Palace is our dislike for Brighton although for Palace it's hate rather than dislike.
