I bought my Wycombe ticket over the phone today and was told by ticket man that Met Police had said that ONLYseason ticket holders would be allowed to buy tickets-full stop.Im incandescent!
Do the coppers actually have the power to impose those kind of conditions? Or is this just another example of them making up laws as and when it suits them?

I'm assuming they're doing this because the home allocation is sold out and they don't want the risk of Millwall supporters buying up away tickets?? I'm going to be seriously fucked off if there's no general sale.

I don't think we get the lower stand tickets for safety reasons. Let's face it, there's a very big risk of 'on the pitch' for both sides.
There is a big risk of on the pitch for ONE side only, im very sure of that. I cant really see many town fans wanting to have a centre circle party with Millwall fans in their own ground. Even if we did somehow manage to clinch second spot.

To be fair I can see why they are only available to ST holders. I think it's only fair that people who have had an ST this season get priority considering we have 3,000 ST holders and only 2,200 tickets.

But ST holders have a week to buy them. If they don't sell out after that then they should go on general sale. The club has a database specifically designed so that they know who is buying tickets. I don't see any good reason why somebody on that database should not be allowed to buy a ticket after the ST holders have had first dibs.

i dont have a problem with season tickets getting priority.but it will lead to some handing their tickets to mates, etc.this will be to the detriment of fans who will have gone to more away games, and may now miss out.

I'm gonna buy 2 tickets tomorrow afternoon. Anyone know of any train deals for 2 people? I reckon it will be reminiscent of the promotion party we had with Walsall a few years ago

I reckon they'll get released on GS with a week to go as many will not decide until then and will want to see if we have a chance of 2nd or not.

True enough..but they wont buy that many..maybe 1500...then the rest should be on general sale..if not you will get fans going without tickets...like me.

Like I said many will want to decide late on as we'll know if this game is going to decide 2nd or not.

Is there not some potential for Millwall to give us more tickets if sell the allocation we already have? Their away end holds more than 2,200..
