Watch out for the ones which burrow under your skin and then lay eggs and then the eggs hatch and then they eat your heart

It's the computer generated ones that can talk you should be worried about

We've got an ant infestation, and yes the little bastards get everywhere.. we get rid of them for 2-3 days before the scouts are back out roaming.

I’ve been told that Nippon ant killer is illegal and rubbish

My office is infested.I thought about putting a pile of sugar outside so they might concentrate on that instead of coming in here.

Don't use any chemicals to kill them as you'll end up breathing in microparticles (ooh hark at me!) and they will stay in your body for ever - the chemicals and not the ants!

All you need to do is put your food away, wash up after you eat and scrub your floor with hot water and mild detergent.

Ants are really clever and follow a trail of ants who have previously searched for sugar and hit the jackpot.  All they want is sugar - it's like ant crack cocaine Cool

If you wash your floor and surfaces, they'll go to someone else's house because they won't be able to follow the trail.  It works 'cos we've had ants since April (tropical Cotswolds) and every time I mop the floor we don't see any back for ages!

Ants aren't dangerous and won't spread disease so you could just live with it I suppose.
