I have a flight booked to Malaga for April 7th. Me and 2 mates were going to stay in a mate's dad's villa, only for said mate, to be unable to go. So now me and one mate have 3 flights to Malaga, no accommodation and no plans.
So what should we do? Find somewhere cheap is a good idea but where?
I think it might be more practical to just write the flights off, because with no time until we should have been going there's not a lot of options.

In truth me and the mate, that can still go, know our mate to be the most disorganised cunt there is. We don't even think he asked his Dad in the first place.  Because it's so late you should be able to get a good deal on accomdation
Yeah, i'm looking through Alpharooms.com at the moment and i've found them dirt cheap in the past. loads of hotels around where do you want to go exactly?
No idea, where ever is cheap and good. I don't know any resorts on the Costa Del Sol other than somewhere called Peurto De La Duquesa that i went to when young. We were supposed to be going to Puerto Banus, but i hear that ain't cheap, so don't want to go there. What's Malaga like? |

Depends what sort of holiday you are after, Malaga is a fucking brilliant city, its kind of like a spanish version of Brighton.

I'm after a quiet break, don't like beaches (although love the coast) and love cities. My mate's a one man spunk machine and if he's not wanking he's thinking about it, so he'll want some where full of flange. I want good food and that's about it to be honest. |

Right, hire a car and go to a little village called Mijas its about 6 miles north of fuengirola and a 15 minute drive from airport, its up in the mountains and is fucking beautiful, its away from all the hoards on the coast but close enough to drive down for a night on the town in fuengirola. Great restaurants, brilliant tapas and incredible views. I have stayed in the hotel Mijas but its hardly a flange hotel but is great with a lovely pool and a bar by the pool looking out across the med.

Cheers Mex, that sounds shit hot. Don't know whether my mate will agree to it, but i'll make up some shit if it looks good. I can't stand being in ex-pat land and having to eat dog food on chips and that sort of shit. What's fuengirola like, because that and Torremolinos seem cheap and likely to be where my mate will lean towards? |

18-30 hell, its brits on the piss and everything you imagine it to be, the beauty of mijas is its only 15 minutes from that but fucking great to get away from it, drive in at night for the whole bottom of town effect.

yes thats the hotel, my sister had her wedding reception there and we have been going there for 15 years, my mum and dad go there 4 or 5 times a year.
Malaga is great and the Picasso museum is superb, plus check to see if malaga are at home in la liga, only about 20 euros to get in

Sweet. Yeah i'm too old for 18-30s shit, although my mate will be foaming at the mouth at the idea of banging 18 year olds all week. I'm liking the idea of that Hotel and am also thinking about Malaga. Didn't think about the Football, that's an ace idea, although we do have to catch Swindon on the Monday, so Sky is a must! Did notice the Picasso museum and would HAVE to go to that, went to some Museum of his before and loved it. |
