I am fairly certain thjere is a lot more to come from tis unfotunatly. Very rare for someone to leave such a large gap between killings.
Hope not. I'm pinning my hopes on the fact he's apparently fessed up to two murders straight away, so if there were more killings why not admit them all? Once you've confessed to two murders, you're not going anywhere for a very, very long time anyway.

Pointless to speculate now, the post mortem wont take more than a couple of days, then we will know for sure who he buried in that field.

the policew know who it is already.they should just name the victim(or at least tell their family)like they did sian before she had been formally identified.

Post mortem? I doubt there is much left after 7 or more years??

More likely DNA/dental record identification. Might take longer.

OK, dental records, whatever. But we will know soon enough who it is. Im just saying that there isnt any need to speculate on it. There will be people affected going through absolute turmoil at the moment, and they will probably putting names into search engines non stop trying to get info, so we should just wait until they announce it?

They probably have told the family, but I don't see the need to publicly name the victim until they've managed to do formal identification. Radio Wilts were saying they've not yet definitely ascertained they are human remains. Although they also said they thought they were the remains of a young woman, which does tend to back up your theory they know who they think it is. The police seem to have done a pretty good job of this so far, if they think there's a reason to hold back publicly naming the second victim, I'm inclined to trust they have good reason to do so.

keeping the vicims family informed is the most important thing.i'm sure they have done as you say, pauld.

you can't stop speculation though,no matter how bad that is for friends and loved ones.

Agree though it isn't always easy...the next of kin may live abroad etc.
Also with Helliwell in custody they will be anxious to get as much info out of him before going public.
Seems strange that it is a young lady from the Swindon area......surely someone must know of this poor girl/woman.

We're right over the other side of town, but there's a lot obviously been let off over this way by people who couldn't go to the Polo Ground or maybe didn't want to.  I've lit a candle in our dining room which I shall leave burning for the rest of the night as my family's gesture that we're thinking of Sian and her loved ones.
