I'm still getting paid trainee salary. I should be getting my pay rise this month or next as they changed the pay review dates to coincide with appraisals every 6 months.
Hopefully I get what roughly what I expect and even though it won't be near enough top dollar, it should get backdated from 1st January. I have a niggling feeling something will mess that expectation up.

If you aren't getting paid as much as you think you should, then you have a moral right to steal the difference.

We have the wanky "salary bands" and "mid-points" too. For us, those who are more than 10% under mid-point are supposed to get a more generous raise, which I'm pretty sure I fall into (fingers crossed).

Haven't had one for 2 years, and not expecting one considering we've lost so many jobs in the last 15 months.

The rates for a days work went up slightly last march and in addition the principle company I work for changed the way we are renumerated for mileage. In our favour really. Used to get paid for the petrol and £25 for car use, now get 40p per mile (a pretty poor rate but better than it has been). This means a trip to manchester is costing me £50 in petrol and Im getting £150 for it.
But it is getting tougher to find the work.

I'm lucky in that although i work in public sector and wasn't expecting anything, because we became a Unitary Authority last year they've had to review what the different authorities did and put everyone/thing in step, so we've had all the holidays put in line, so i now get 31 days. And the pays were all reviewed, some went down, some went up and much to my suprise as i was expecting (hoping) to stay the same, i got a rise of £2.3K from next month, and they are backdating it to April 09 so i will get a good pay packet next month.
Very happy but very grateful as well as i really wasn't expecting anything.

That sounds like Nationwide, I'm on 112% of target so fuck all for me I guess - and I sit next to the Rewards team and no matter how many Starbucks or cream cakes i get them, I'll still get fuck all.

2%.... but bearing in mind the company I work for is pissing on their targets and doing well out of the recession, it does seem a bit little stingy...
