Completely overlooked the in car music scenario, it makes sense now. I still need to add the rest of my music and create some playlists on my ipod, which solely gets used for the car. But I'm lazy.

Yep you can't beat a mix tape or cd. Spotify playlists seem to be the latest thing people are sharing. A great way to be introduced to new music and so easy to choose and then copy the playlist link anywhere. I find this a great way to find new music and then download what i like instead of looking through the old cd collection

mix-tapes are ace. In fact, there's a show on MTV called classic mix tape or something, which is always good.
I'd plump for Nu Yorican Soul, Black gold of the sun.
