What a glorious little place...deliver to Brighton and Worthing regularly but was in Shoreham yesterday delivering timber,,right on the old wharf on the estuary that meets the sea. Had my break there and watched the little fishing boats chug back to the quay...seems they mainly had cockles/mussells on board..its a lovely area and it was the first time i had actually been to Shoreham. Brightons ground at Falmer is starting to take shape...it looks impresive being overlooked by the Sussex Downs. Also a bonus that the sun was shining...hope i get down there again soon..Shoreham that is.

yep thats opposite me, we have a little marina and you can sail down to the pub or get in a little motor boat and beat the commute into brighton. Its a lovely little place to live and only 10 minutes from the city. next time you are there go for lunch in a fantastic italian restaurant next to the station called brio. Best italian food i have ever tasted.

river adur out to sea, very very tidal, saying that not sure what defines an estuary? The bit round the corner is shoreham harbour which is actually in southwick and portslade. I do believe its the biggest working harbour left in england. Its about 4 miles long.

you can go on the A27 at worthing at 3 in the morning and get stuck in traffic jams.
Now youve been here you understand why i live here, it really is a beautiful part of the country with a vibrant city with loads going on just round the corner.

Fuck off Mex Shoreham is a prick-filled place... I hate the phrase Adur... Wtf is that supposed to represent? It's all about Crawley - a lovely town full of respectable people...
Sorry to hijack the thread a little but... Mex any suggestions for Thursday? Planning a mad one in Brighton but have the girlfriend's mum in tow, so can't be full of smashed 16 yr olds (as per my usual haunts.....)
