IMO he was just as class a player last season, specially just before his injury, but didn't quite gel with the players around him. IMO that is complete bollocks. He was as fucking useless last season as he is good this. I think his attitude will have had more to do with it than the players around him.

JPM was injured/rubbish up until the end of december last year. He started picking up in the 2-0 home defeat to Brighton, and was pretty decent for most of the rest of the season after that.

Agree. He has a real appitite for chasing the ball down now that he just didnt have before. Adding work rate to his quality right foot has made him a much much better player. long may it continue.

I think he always had a 100% attitude and workrate, but the one-touch stuff he's so good at now just wasn't quite coming off. Agree about the right foot though - one of the advantages he has over opposing midfielders is that they never know which way he's going to go.

Making an effort for a new contract this season as he had a year left last season. Glads hes re-signed though. Grant Smith syndrome

Best? Arguably. He is definitely our most technically gifted footballer.

Another good performance, involved in 2 of the 3 goals and a real threat once again.

How many tackles did he make? If you get promoted, you'll have a lot more defending to do in games and he'll become a liability.

Unlikely to start at your place, despite some very good performances over the past few weeks. Darel Russell is back from his suspension now and Lambert has decided to revert back to the diamond system that got us so many points from September through to February. No doubt if we're not ahead heading into the latter stages he'll be brought on.
