Not sure with this version, my bet is it has put in registry entries and you'd have to reinstall the O/S also, but double check that.

Yep. Might need a registry cleaner as well. Google is your friend: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=office+registry+cleaner

I had a question in a quiz last week...in which year did Microsoft market Word?

I punted 1982...pure guess based on my Spectrum having that date. Wrong it was 1983.

I hate year questions...I have enough trouble knowing what this year is. Sad

That's because you've seen so many of them.

It's true, they do tend to roll into one another, unless you've something to hang them on.

I try to mark the years in terms of STFC football seasons, which works going back lots of years, but recently they've tended to be very forgettable....in fact since 95/96

If for some reason you really need MS Office the beta for the 2010 version is available and seems pretty stable, free and fully functioning until its released.

If you're a little bit "G" then get a copy of this:

Beat this: today an experienced (old) teacher wrote 2nd March 2002 up on the board

it does seem like 2002 in a way though, and i'm positive that it has never been 2008.
