It bugs me that all season the media keeps telling us that this cup is meaningless yet when it comes to the day its one of the "major trophies".Anyway I hope Owen and Milner have outstanding games.

Mike Ingham made a nice reference to the Don in 1969 on how the finals in the 1960's made the League Cup what it was.
PS Top bird signing the national anthem and her surname was Kerslake, is she related to David Kerslake?

Goodness knows how Vidic is still on the pitch - the commentators have overstated the point but it has to be said United have got away with a lot. Nice finish from Owen, shame he's had to go off injured.
Villa started well but haven't been able to break United down since it went to 1-1 really.

I don't know - every time the camera goes near United fans, they all seem to be wearing the green and yellow scarves. It's quite disconcerting, I keep finding myself wondering why St Johns Ambulance are randomly dotted throughout the crowd

In a pub at Liverpool street Football Focus showed some clips of our 1969 win!
Set all the lads off singing and all the other punters left!
