 Fuck me that sounds like hard work....I remember seeing 10CC in 1974, had to sit down in a theatre, which seemed just as wrong as sitting down at a football match.

 I was so pleased when pub rock, bands like Graham Parker and the Rumour and Dr Feelgood kicked that shit into touch, then the whole punk thing happened.

You know, I like 80s music but there's some truly awful acts in that line-up. Two days? Strip out the dross and you might get an afternoon's worth watching

Good shout reg. Dr Feelgood sort of made it but Graham Parker and the Rumour were a very, very underrated band. Now you've mentioned them I'll have to dig out my old records.
The line up for this festival is complete and utter shite. Its the equivalent of the worst 20-players ever to put on a Town shirt - dross after dross.

can't say those acts appeal to me.some are ok but some right stinkers in there too.
i see shalimar are coming to the oasis,alongside steve brookstein and kenny thomas.i reckon it will get scrapped due to the lack of interest

Imagination were pretty cool if you liked 'proper' disco. Level 42 had a few good toons as well.

Pretty much a right pile of bollocks. I'm pretty sure i saw Imagination at the Brunel rooms early 80's, can anyone confirm i'm not dreaming? Booze addeled?
