On Ch4 now.

Fucking hell. A kid gets £2250 because he stubbed his toe in the playground playing football - the parents say its not about the money!

Another woman, is trying to sue a school because she fell over during sports day.

A bloke is trying to sue the manufacturer of a razor because he cut himself shaving.

Makes me bloody angry. Namby Pamby state.

Seems to be the whole world is getting like this now.

We don't have the good samaritan law here.  Quite a few cases where people were pulled out of burning cars (or similar incidents) and then claimed they had been injured by their rescuer, sued them and won.

Last week I was in a taxi and saw what looked like a pile of rags in the road, turned out to be some poor woman who had either collapsed or been hit by a car.  Absolutely no one stopped to help her, they all just manouvered around her in their cars.  The taxi we were in refused to stop to give assistance and all we could do was call the police and tell them to get their arses to the scene.

The world is really fucked up

I saw some of this but had to turn it off before I threw something at the telly in a rage.

The woman claiming for breaking her ankle at her kids school sports day - on the school field (that was as flat-ish as you would expect a school field to be)- IN A RACE THAT SHE VOLUNTEERED FOR - was really taking the piss.

Please tell me she didnt get anything.

I didn't see the programme but I saw the people from it being interviewed on the breakfast news. Not sure if she got anything but they did say that the school won't be doing any similar events ever again due to her claim. I bet she's popular at the school now. Bitch.

A couple of years back playing conkers was banned at the school my son goes to.

The reason given was that if a conker smashed a piece could go into someones eye.

So last year the school provided the kids with protective eyewear in the playground so they could play.  Cheesy

I am amazed that anyone over the age of 40 is still alive, what with all the fucking risks we took as kids, like cycling without full body armour, & playing dangerous sports like conkers and marbles.

She didn't, but the woman that was hit by a twig from a tree got £3k I think it was.
