what's up with wardy?
A minor injury was all he said. He's hoping they'll both be back for Saturday.

Malpas needed subtitles. Which is a bit of an issue on the radio.

Ferry needs sub-titles. Like fitba.

Absolutely delighted with the result.

Who would've thought Paynter would've been so prolific at the beginning of the season!!

I do get the feeling that Wilson may expect to see Paynter step up and be more prolific, maybe play with one up and 2 wide.

Paynter is now of teh rightsort of age and experience to kick on and become a 20 goal man

Just Back. Not a great game considering the scoreline. I was impressed with Stockport, much better than Oldham or Carlisle. Shame about the top two winning but 3rd place should be ours after the Wovers game!

Good game tonight. A little flat at times but deffo entertaining. First half we started really well. Our passing was quality and we got the goal to take the lead. For the first 20 minutes we really went at them and looked dangerous. I think Stockport probably showed us a little too much respect and backed off us which let us play. We got the 2nd just before half time thanks to a cock up in their defence. Easy finish for Billy. Then the ref (who I thought was dreadful) gave them a free kick that never was on the edge of the box and they're back in it.

2nd half started and it was mostly them. We sat back and they had a real go. We needed to get settled and when we did we were comfortable again. 2 good goals to seal what in the end was a comfortable win. Scorline may have flattered us a bit but we did dominate the first half. Really impressed with Morrison and Paynter tonight. I guess we have come to expect it from the latter but it was like Greer was never missing at the back. Good win and another 3 points. Catching Charlton fast now!

Also Stockport played very well. Surprised they were that good tbh and they have showed some real spirit and never gave up.

Except for half-time. Seems he played almost 4 mins when board had said 2. Just long enough for them to score.
