Rock and Chips was painfully awful. Not a touch on Only Fools and Horses, but then nothing ever will be. Also got Quadrophenia on. Top film

RE: Rock and Chips: It was tolerable... But I'd agree that it was forgetable.
I spent the whole thing trying to figure out what I'd seen the actress who played Del-Boy's mum in YEARS ago... Then it amazingly clicked, she was in a kids show called T-Bag back in the 80's/early 90's - I loved that show - proper rubbish looking back now though...

Im at work listening to Danny Baker and feeling fucked, not slept properly for 2 weeks and feel pretty close to cracking up.Only Fools and Horses mildly annoys me and these things where they do prequels never really work do they.

The good thing about it was that the focus wasn't on Only Fool & Horses' principle characters.
It was clearly not an attempt to produce a laugh-out-loud comedy.

I watched Rock and Chips but I dont think it was supposed to be funny was it? It was more a drama than a comedy which I guess is what they were going for. John Sullivan of all people knows how to write comedy.
They had two episodes of OFAH on BBC earlier - top quality.
Couldnt take jay from the inbetweeners seriously as Del Boy because he's jay from the the inbetweeners, clunge, friend etc

obviously wasn't an attempt at a pre only fools but i thought it would have been a bit different to what it was.i enjoyed it but thought it would have been more about del boy and co,rather than his mum and the conception of rodney.all to predictable which only fools never was.

I reckon a virtual Yeo away day smooch would have sorted me out. Shame.
Perhaps I should go to be and wake up in a couple of hours. That could be dicing with the sandman a little too much though.

how come you have to do work over night, thats a bit odd isnt it?
whats the point of going to uni and having a career (rather than a job) if you have to sit up all night working.
