sorry, couldn't see a topic for it
Alan Sheehan will remain at The County Ground until the end of the campaign after Town agreed a deal with Leeds United this afternoon.
The versatile Irishman has proved a valuable addition to the squad since his arrival, making seven appearances for The Robins.
The 23-year-old Irishman is equally comfortable at left-back or on the left side of midfield and his extended deal will see him remain at Swindon until 31st May 2010.
Town boss Danny Wilson was pleased with the news, as he continues shaping the squad for what will be an important second half of the campaign.
He said: "You saw the quality the lad possesses on Saturday against Fulham, and he seems to play better against the bigger teams.
"That's generally the sign of a quality player and we're delighted to have him back here.
"It gives us that bit more strength and competition at left-back with Lecsy and Callum Kennedy which is great from our point of view."
