Just installed the latest patch for FM10 whilst at my mum's in Bracknell and now it's demanding the activation key, currently on the manual 50 miles down the road in Crawley!!  Is there any way I can get an activation key without driving home?!  I'm desperate to play tonight as I've got 6 unallocated hours - I never get that sort of time to play FM so I'm a trifle gutted....

All I've done today is play FM.

That is of great consolation to me!   Angry

I was really looking forward to a weekend of FM but patching has put paid to that...  devastated.

No by CD...  just found out there is no activation code and that I've just downloaded the wrong version of the patch...  if I've got a CD, does that mean I should download the boxed patch?

I'm presuming you can't just ring your mum and ask her to find it?

I don't think you need a code if you have the cd. Maybe re-install the game and then apply the proper patch (just make sure you keep a copy of any game saves you have).

I doubt it, she is probably downstairs not at his other house in Crawley

Ah, thought you were in Crawley. No sorry, it was enroute back from Abingdon.

Try and steer clear of Bracknell if you can...  possibly the most awful town on the planet, with the possible exception of Hereford.  I have had the misfortune of living in both places...  Angry
