I'm about 12 miles from Slough (not far enough) - the roads in the Walthams (six miles west of Maidenhead are pretty bad), can not help you with train info, sorry.

I lived in White Waltham as a kid...twice.  Small world, Dell.  (Assuming that's where you are.)

Some people across the road from me made an ace snow Graffiti wall using plastic boxes to mould the shape of the bricks.  They are spray painting it too! (pic below)

I made the kids the Worst Snowman Ever. And then gave it some ears and fangs so I could try to pretend it was supposed to be a Snow Monster all along and that was why it was so hideously malformed. But I did take them snowballing and sledging later to make up for my rubbish snow sculpturing skills.

Terrific idea - I have a fridge that performs a similar function though.  The benefit of this is that it works no matter what the weather is like.  Maybe you should get one, then you could have chilled lager whenever you want it.

Chilled? They will be frozen!
Did it in the snow in Feb. The cans were only on the surface, hardly covered, for about an hour and they were more slush than liquid.
