It can only go on for so long.
The parasite will eventually eat the host - as in the state will exhaust the means to tax us while increasing spending and debt beyond the income available from a financially stripped population.
The banking crisis were the first tremors. The first EU country (Greece) to have it's credit rating reduced to 'poor' has just happened. Spain, Portugal will be next and then the rest will follow.
It is inevitable. You can't treat people like tax livestock, it is immoral and fundamentally wrong.
Tin foil hat anybody?

Leefer - why don't you get a one way ticket to Afghanistan, grow a beard, hijack a plane back to Britain without a passport, claim political asylum under another name ( on the basis that if you returned to Afghanistan you'd be killed as you're a lorry driver and they kill all lorry drivers ) and live the rest of your life tax free. Think of it as a rebate.

No man minds being taxed, its a very fair way off raising funds....just when you get taxed about three times before you get your wages....then on everything after you get your wages, well it gets abit.....taxing. I have grown a beard actually....it hasnt been taxed..yet.

Yes, because this is an actual genuine policy guys. The Economy is however, fucked, as Alan correctly points out. The National debt is something horrifying.

Apart from the one way ticket there, it actually is real life and so has precedent in UK ( EU ) law. So although not genuine policy, its been done before and it could be done again.
