I don't know if anyone else here debates this, but where I sit there is always a debate as to which direction the town should attack, and there are 2 schools of thought...

1 - Attack the town end in the 2nd half
Anecdotal evidence is that we perform better when attacking the town end in the 2nd half.  Probably because it is traditionally where the noise came from, and this helps when seeing the game out.

2 – Attack the Stratton Bank in the 2nd half
Years ago there were statistic showing we won more games and scored about 20% more goals at the bank than the town end.

I don’t know if anybody keeps stats like this anymore, but after another debate today (and win when attacking the bank in the 2nd half) it got me wondering if anyone does, and if you had a preference.

Regardless on stats i'd much rather we attacked the town end in the second half. Far more enjoyable.

I'd have thought it best to attack the end where the oppositions goal is.

Shooting towards the DRS, if that Orient shot in the 2nd half is anything to go by. Probably the worst shot i've ever seen.

I'd like two Town Ends.

We should ferry all the fans found at half time so it doesn't matter.

The matchday programme gives stats of how many goals we score and concede in what manner e.g. headrers, penalties etc and in which half, but it does not says which way we were kicking.

I would bet that Paul Plowman has the stats you are looking for.

I'd prefer us to be attacking the Stratton Bank second half. That's with the prevailing wind, easier to put pressure on the opposition, and clear our lines if in trouble.

When I first started going, you could change ends at half time...the TE terrace wrapped around to the Bank via the Shrivenham Road, there was a walkway along the back of the Shrivenham Road. Lots of people used to do it.

Bankites sometimes if it rained would leave the Bank and go and stand under the Shrivenham Road...but there was always a hardcore who would stand in the rain, no matter what....they did usually have bright yellow cycling capes mind. The cycling cape being a particularly ace thing.

We should always kick into the TE second half...

Totally agree. I get disappointed if we switch ends before kick off and face the TE.

If we had stayed the 'right way round' yesterday, I would have had a close up of all three goals.  Angry

Attacking the stratton bank normally means the wind is behind us.
