Not really given the fact it's the same other than party chat. Plus for the money you pay for XBL it's pretty poor really when you think that PSN is free. |

Xbox live is worth the money in my opinion! Recently they have made some very nice updates and i never have a problem with lag at all when gaming!

Lags aren't down to the service though. They're down to the servers on the game e.g. the EA servers or the Activision ones for COD.

Being in the priveleged position of owning both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 I would have to say I agree with Mr Reaper in that the Xbox Live service is much better than PS3's effort. And in general I have never had any issues with the 360 but have had no end of problems, both online and offline, with the PS3.
I'm CDR1982 on both should anyone fancy a game of FIFA / Pro Evo.
